Definitely something I’ve been following with interest but as the article says the long term outcomes are mixed.
One major issue for all hip replacement surgery is the amount of implants that are incorrectly position. Even a slight misalignment may lead to increased wear and of course most minimally invasive approaches give the surgeon less room to work with.
Having said that I’m going to be needing my other hip done soon and I would love to be up and walking without a stick the next day
